Incubating the chicken eggs in an manual incubator is a practical learning experience that combines science, patience, and responsibility. For the section of BSAF 1C this activity is not only as a hand-on application of agricultural and biological concepts but also as a way to appreciate the delicate process of life development of chick or chicken. The student's of BSAF 1C we started the project by choosing the good quality of the egg's. They made sure that the egg's were clean, right size, and had no cracks. After that, they prepared the incubator by setting the right temperature in the termo stats and check the light to see if it's working before putting the egg's in the incubator. Every day the student we'll be checked the incubator. They look at the termo stats and water trays to keep the conditions steady and check the egg if they have a changes for their color. They part exciting because you well see the life forming inside. But they have a exception or challenges too. Something the temperature or humidity change and the blower fan is not working and the student had fix it quickly. Even with these problems, they stayed patient and careful. After waiting for a several weeks finally they started hatching. Seeing the baby chicken break out of their shells it's so fun. But their have a sadness after that because not all of eggs is hatching in the 30 percent is become 15 percent only.After hatching the students is collecting the shells and the egg that not hatch and throw away and the baby chicken well be placed in the cage that they have a impetus and give them a food and water.
